Thermal insulation materials of the KTMZ brand manufactured by AB “UMEGA GROUP” are made by vacuum casting. For the preparation of hydraulic mass, mullite silica wool is used without surfactants in order to be able to create a strong, durable structure using various types of binders. The most widely used and economical binders are salts. They are easy to use and stable at high temperatures. The developed technology provides a material with excellent physicochemical properties – high strength, low thermal conductivity (0.08 W / (m * K) at +500 ° C and 0.22 W / (m * K) at +1000 ° C and a density of 200 to 350 kg/m3.
